Comfort Food That Won't Make You Fat: Turkey Lettuce Wraps





I have been meaning to share this recipe with you for a long time!  This is one of my favorites. In fact, it's a favorite of my entire family. These lettuce wraps are full of flavor and are so satisfying. They're also VERY EASY and they don't contain a bunch of exotic ingredients that will cost a fortune. 

Ingredients:
20 oz pkg ground turkey breast
8 oz water chestnuts-chopped
8 oz mushrooms-chopped
I bunch green onions- sliced
2 cloves garlic-minced
1/4 C vinegar
1/4 C soy Sauce
4 Tbsp sesame oil 
1 tsp red pepper flakes

Mix all ingredients you can place them in a Ziploc bag for a couple of hours or overnight. Or you can just go ahead and cook them immediately. 
Brown all ingredients till turkey is cooked. 
Serve on a lettuce leaf
Add some sauce. This is our favorite
Really yummy and so good for you!
I make 2 recipes and freeze the second one raw. It cooks up so easily on a busy day!
